Kindergarten here I come...

As of today, I am officially teaching Kindergarten religous education classes at my church. I have been contemplating volunteering to teach as time is always a factor. After calling and hearing that they desperately needed teachers, I decided to go for it! There were short on kindergarten and 1st grade teachers...go figure! I went and filled out the necessary paperwork so they could run a background check, etc. The lady at the church was so excited that I was there, she was jumping up and down. God has always been a huge part of my life, yet I don't always express it or show that side to others as that has always been a side of me I have kept to myself. I am very excited to get started and meet my little kinder class. I look forward to sharing the love of God with them and I am sure I will have plenty of funny stories to share with friends and family!

Back to Ohio!

Today was a hard day for me. My sister, Michelle, and nephew, Zachary, flew back to Ohio....they were here for 3 weeks, but time flies! My sister moved to Cleveland back at the end of May due to her husband's new job. This has been exceptionally difficult for me and my family as none of us have ever been apart. My sister is my best friend and we share such a special bond as I do with Zachary as well. We had so much fun while they were here and it felt like they were back in Texas for good. It is so hard to say bye when you are used to seeing someone everyday of your life. I have cried and cried and then begin to laugh when I think of Zachary and how funny he is. Zachary spent the night with us a couple of times and he managed to learn to bowl, golf, and play baseball on Wii better than us at the age of 3! He makes us laugh and smile every minute of the day. They both bring so much joy to our lives and Adam and I are already counting down the days until we leave for Ohio in November.

Yes, I am Blogging!

Well, I finally created a blog! I started a template awhile ago and of course changed it a dozen times, but never had the time to really sit down and start to type so here I go.... I feel like the past year has been a whirl wind. Getting married is alot of work, but all worth it in the end! I wanted a perfect wedding and I got one along with a perfect husband. I couldn't ask for me and I feel very blessed to have found such an amazing man to spend and share my life with. We just had our 3 month anniversary...woohoo, we are on a roll! In the past few weeks, we have been working on the wedding album with our photographer. We finally narrowed it down to 150 images for the album after choosing from over 1200!! The photographer said the album process could take up to 6 months depending on the changes, etc. I will be glad when this process is over with and we have a beautiful, professional album to share with our family and friends. I am excited to see the final product! I got the proof CD with all the images from the wedding and bridal portraits in the mail today, so I am anxious to go print them all out and put them in a album of my own to share!
